The Zoho CRM integration syncs Wave contacts into Zoho as either Contacts or Leads, configurable at setup. Wave handles Zoho’s region-specific API endpoints automatically, so users across the US, EU, India, Australia, and other regions connect to the right Zoho data center with no extra configuration.

How to Connect

Open the integration

Go to Integrations → Zoho CRM.

Choose a record type

Choose whether to sync contacts as Contacts or Leads.

Enable auto-sync (optional)

Turn on Auto-sync to import all existing Wave contacts immediately.

Connect Zoho

Click Connect and sign in to your Zoho account.
Wave requests read/write access to the relevant CRM modules (Contacts and/or Leads), permission to read users (to assign ownership), and read access to organization info (for region detection).

Features

  • Contacts or Leads: choose the Zoho record type that fits your sales workflow.
  • Automatic region detection: Wave connects to the correct Zoho data center (US, EU, IN, AU, and others) automatically.
  • Auto-sync on connect: import all existing Wave contacts on first connection.
  • Owner assignment: contacts are assigned to the Zoho user whose email matches the Wave team member.
  • Deduplication: Wave stores Zoho record IDs and updates existing records rather than creating duplicates.

Limitations & Requirements

  • Owner matching is by email. If no matching Zoho user is found, the contact is saved without an owner.
  • Zoho sandbox and developer accounts are detected automatically, but rate limits and available fields may differ from production.

Disconnecting

Go to Integrations → Zoho CRM and click Disconnect. This removes the integration and revokes Wave’s access. Records already synced to Zoho are not deleted.
