Available on the Teams and Enterprise plans. This is an organization-level integration, configured by an admin.
The Google Workspace integration keeps your Wave Connect team directory in sync with your Google Workspace directory. When an employee is added, updated, or removed in Google Workspace, Wave Connect reflects those changes automatically, with no manual user management required.

How to Connect

1

Open the integration

Go to Integrations → Google Workspace (admin only).
2

Connect with an admin account

Click Connect and sign in with a Google Workspace admin account.
3

Authorize Wave Connect

Authorize Wave Connect to read your directory.
4

Enable auto-sync

Turn on Auto-sync to apply all future directory changes to Wave Connect automatically, or manage syncs manually.
Wave Connect requests read-only access to read users from your Google Workspace directory.

What Gets Synced

Sync direction: Google Workspace → Wave Connect (inbound only) When: Real-time via Google Workspace webhooks, plus on-demand manual refresh

Features

  • Real-time sync: employee changes in Google Workspace (new hires, role changes, departures) are reflected in Wave Connect within minutes via webhooks.
  • Auto-deactivation: when an employee is archived or suspended in Google Workspace, their Wave Connect account is automatically deactivated.
  • Import preview: view all Workspace users before enabling auto-sync.

Limitations & Requirements

  • Requires a Google Workspace admin account to authorize.
  • Profile photos that require a Google login to view are not imported.
  • This is an organization-level integration. Individual team members do not connect separately.

Disconnecting

Go to Integrations → Google Workspace and click Disconnect. This removes the integration, revokes Wave Connect’s access, and unregisters the webhook subscription. Existing Wave Connect users are not deleted.
