The Google Contacts integration syncs Wave contacts into your Google Contacts (via the Google People API), so every person you meet is automatically saved and accessible across Google products like Gmail and Google Calendar.

How to Connect

1

Open the integration

Go to Integrations → Google Contacts.
2

Connect Google

Click Connect and sign in to your Google account.
3

Authorize Wave

Authorize Wave to manage your Google Contacts.
Wave requests read/write access to your Google Contacts.

Features

  • Automatic sync: contacts flow into Google Contacts as soon as they’re captured in Wave.
  • Batch import: on first connect, up to 200 existing contacts are imported in a single batch.
  • Deduplication: each contact is tagged with a Wave external ID, so updates modify the existing Google Contact rather than creating a new one.

Limitations & Requirements

  • The initial batch import is capped at 200 contacts.
  • This is a personal integration, connected per user rather than per team.

Disconnecting

Go to Integrations → Google Contacts and click Disconnect. This removes the integration and revokes Wave’s access. Contacts already saved to Google Contacts are not deleted.
