Connect your Gmail account so emails Wave Connect sends on your behalf, such as contact sharing and follow-ups, come from your own Gmail address rather than a generic Wave Connect address.

How to Connect

Open the integration

Go to Integrations → Gmail.

Connect Google

Click Connect and sign in to your Google account.

Authorize Wave Connect

Authorize Wave Connect to send email on your behalf.
Your Gmail address and display name are detected automatically from your Google account.
Wave Connect only requests permission to send email. It cannot read, store, or index your Gmail inbox.

What Gets Synced

This integration is for sending only. Wave Connect does not read or sync any messages from your inbox. Direction: Outbound only (Wave Connect → Gmail API → recipient) When: Per email send (no background sync)

Features

  • Emails sent by Wave Connect appear in recipients’ inboxes as coming from your Gmail address.
  • Sent emails appear in your Gmail Sent folder.

Limitations & Requirements

  • This is a personal integration, connected per user.
  • Wave Connect only sends emails. It never reads or indexes your inbox.

Disconnecting

Go to Integrations → Gmail and click Disconnect. This removes the integration and revokes Wave Connect’s sending access. Future Wave Connect emails revert to the default Wave Connect sender address.
