In this best NFC business card 2025 review, I’ll be looking into the top 6 options available to you. Some of those options include but are not limited to Wave, Dot, and Mobilo.

Have you ever imagined that your business cards could give a sort of technological facelift? Well, that’s exactly what NFC business cards do, and they totally change the game of networking. This is the tool you need to take your business efforts to the next level. 🌎

I’ll be talking about what they are, how they work their magic, and all the cool benefits they bring to the table. This blog is meant to give you some insight into the top products available and how to find the right one for you.

I did some research, and here are the stats: The global NFC business card market size was valued at USD 19.47 million in 2022 and is expected to reach USD 39.5 million by 2028, expanding at a CAGR of 12.51% during that forecast period.🔥

What Are the Best NFC Business Cards in 2025? 🏆

The landscape of NFC Business Cards is buzzing with innovation and choice, offering many options tailored to various professional needs.

Leading the pack are companies like Wave, Dot, and Mobilo, each bringing something unique to the table!

#1. Wave 🥇

Wave’s NFC business cards have solidified themselves as the frontrunner for any professional serious about design and feature set.

I’ve assigned them as “The Designer’s Choice” since they have the aesthetic of a professional business card with the latest in smart NFC chip technology.

Their cards were the most responsive, easiest to use, and straightforward to set up. 🎉

Here’s a closer look at what makes Wave stand out, guided by my scoring criteria.

My Overall Review (Total Score 91/100):

Whether you’re a real estate professional, a corporate executive, or an entrepreneur, I found that Wave cards offer a way to network that’s as refined and professional as you are.

I gave them a score of 91/100 because Wave cards are not just an accessory but a necessary tool for the modern professional looking to build lasting relationships and share their company information. It was also the easiest to set up compared to other cards on the market.

❌ Cannot print on the back of the card

❌ They do not have NFC key fob products

❌ They do not have NFC event stands

❌ No gift cards available

- Design and Aesthetics: 19/20

These cards score 19 out of 20 because the material feels and looks great. They have various PVC colors that can suit your logo or design. These colors include black, blue, white, orange, and bamboo.

If you’re looking for a card that looks premium and has a matte finish, I’d choose their Metal NFC cards (which btw can be customized). They’ll help you make a bold statement without saying a word.

Make sure to focus on adding as many design elements as you need on the card to give your brand the spotlight it deserves.

- Functionality and Technology: 23/25

Here’s where Wave isn’t just playing the game; it’s changing it. With a score of 23 out of 25, the card’s NFC chip is extremely responsive. Compatible with loads of devices (all iOS and Android phones) and offering a tap-to-share experience, it makes sure you’re handing out more than just your number. Contacts, social links, portfolios — you name it, the card stores it. And the best part? It’s ridiculously easy to use.

P.S. Wave was rated the #1 easiest-to-use digital business card in terms of usability and sharing. I was able to create a profile in minutes by simply tapping my card on my phone or using the QR code on the back. 🏆

- Customization and Flexibility: 18/20

With an 18 out of 20 score, Wave lets you be the tailor of your own digital card. It gives you the tools to ensure your card tells your story, your way. While the platform gives you the ability to add alot of details on your card, a touch more flexibility for on-the-go notifications & updates would be the cherry on top.

I would recommend to Wave that they allow the back of the card to be customizable. I feel that more digital business card providers should offer that design option.

- Durability and Material Quality: 14/15

These cards aren’t just a pretty face… they’re tough too. Scoring 14 out of 15, they’re crafted from materials that feel good, last long and are made from fully recyclable material.

Whether you go matte or glossy, your card is going to stand the test of time (and maybe even a laundry mishap… because they are waterproof! I’ve tested them! 💦🚿)

- Cost-Effectiveness: 8/10

Priced lower than the paper ones cluttering up your drawer, they score an 8 out of 10 because they’re the kind that keeps on giving. No more reprints or outdated info, these cards are an investment in making every connection count.

Also, compared to other cards, they’re pretty cost-efficient.

Based on my research, digital business cards cost $0.10 to share in comparison to approximately $1.5 per paper card.

- Unique Features: 9/10

Rounding out with a 9 out of 10, Wave cards are not just about making connections but understanding them.

With features like analytics to gauge your networking game and optional follow-up emails or texts, they’re not just cards — they’re your personal networking assistant.

The automated follow-up emails or SMS are a game changer for me. I no longer need to remember to send follow-up messages to all the new contacts I meet.

P.S. This feature is free and can be enabled in the settings once logged in to your account. 🎉

#2. Dot 🥈

Let’s dive into Dot Cards, the “Practical Pick” for professionals who like to keep things straightforward yet impactful in the networking arena.

Imagine these cards as the reliable, no-nonsense friend who helps you make connections effortlessly. Scoring a solid 81 out of 100, let’s break down what sets Dot apart in the bustling world of professional networking.

The unfortunate reality of Dot is that to get a custom card, you need to purchase them in a group of 5, which would cost a whopping $275 ($55/each). 😲

Dot nfc business card

Dot NFC business card

My Overall Review (Total Review 81/100):

Dot cards are designed for those who want to make networking as smooth and hassle-free as possible without ditching that essential personal vibe that makes connections meaningful.

With an 81/100 score, Dot cards shine a light on the beauty of simplicity in professional networking. These cards are for anyone who values a straightforward approach and durability in design.

Many types of bundles available

Dot-branded cards cost $20/each

✅ Bulk discounts available

✅ Dot logo has a gloss finish

✅ Wide selection of colored cards

✅ Sturdy material with matte finishes

✅ PVC and metal options available

✅ Support via chat and email

❌ Cannot print on the back of the card

Cannot customize cards with your logo unless you purchase a minimum of 5 ($275 total)

❌ Basic digital business card features (no analytics, follow-ups, or contact management)

❌ I had trouble tapping the product to some iPhones

- Design and Aesthetics: 19/20

Dot keeps it classy and straightforward. The design is clean, ensuring that your brand and contact info take the spotlight, free from any clutter. It’s the minimalist’s dream, proving that sometimes less really is more, especially when it comes to making a professional statement.

However, if you are looking for customization options, I’d recommend you look elsewhere, as they do not provide logo personalization unless you order a minimum of 5 custom cards.

- Functionality and Technology: 19/25

With top-notch NFC tech, Dot ensures your info gets transferred smoothly to a wide range of devices. Plus, the storage lets you pack in all your essential contact details and social links.

Unfortunately, there is no way to add a video intro!

Overall, this card does the job by providing you with all the basic features needed to share your information.

When testing the card, I had trouble tapping it to an iPhone. The Dot card needs to be very close to the top back of an iPhone to catch the NFC chip compared to the others in this review. 🤳🏼

- Customization and Flexibility: 14/20

Dot gives you room to play around and make the card truly yours, at least with its Dot-branded cards. The only problem is you can only create custom cards with your logo by purchasing a minimum of 5 cards.

However, you can tweak the digital content your card links to, keeping your networking game fresh and updated.

It’s a solid balance between customization and simplicity.

- Durability and Material Quality: 15/15

These cards are built to last, ready to accompany you through countless networking events without showing wear and tear.

They’ve got quality in spades, though a little more love for eco-friendly materials in their packaging could make them even better for the planet-conscious professional.

- Cost-Effectiveness: 8/10

Dot hits a sweet spot in terms of affordability. It’s a smart pick if you’re looking for something that’s both economical ($20/card) and packed with the essentials for effective networking.

No need to worry about constant reprints or updates, making your wallet and the environment thank you in the long run.

- Unique Features: 6/10

While Dot might not be breaking new ground with flashy features, it offers essentials like contact information and an easy-to-use platform for information updates.

#3. Mobilo 🥉

Mobilo’s NFC business cards are a blend of technology and data analytics designed to revolutionize how we think about networking. With a score of 79 out of 100, Mobilo is not just about swapping contact details but about turning every encounter into sales insights.

The digital platform gives you loads of analytics and geolocation tracking on where you meet new contacts. However, the NFC cards are quite thin and low quality compared to others on the market. Though, they are the cheapest option if you are on a budget! 💼

Mobilo nfc card

Mobilo nfc business car

My Overall Review (Total Score 79/100):

Mobilo brings something fresh to the networking table. It’s like they’ve taken the traditional business card and supercharged it with analytics and sales insights.

This isn’t just a card, it’s a networking power tool that offers you insights inton how your contacts engage with your business profile.

For those who love data and want to make every professional interaction count, Mobilo is a game-changer. Whether you’re in a sales team or building your own business, imagine having a tool that shares your contact information in a tap but also tells you how people interact with your content.

✅ Very affordable Mobilo branded card at $4.99/each

✅ Custom logo cards start at $19.50/each

PVC and metal cards available

✅ Wood cards and gift cards available

✅ They have key fobs and NFC smart buttons that are Mobilo-branded

✅ Support via email

✅ Automation and CRM for an extra $20/year

✅ Analytics insights and features available

❌ No bundles are available

❌ No bulk discounts available

❌ Cards are low quality and not sturdy

❌ No matte finish cards, only glossy PVC cards available

❌ Basic color selection on NFC cards

- Design and Aesthetics: 12/20

Mobilo cards have a very simple look that speaks professionalism, with custom cards having just enough customization to make your brand stand out.

I did notice that their cards are slightly thinner than others, and I feel like they use cheaper materials.

Although the spotlight is on tech and analytics, Mobilo ensures that you can print on the back of the card in addition to the front for an extra cost (the only NFC business card provider that can do this currently).

- Functionality and Technology: 22/25

What really sets Mobilo apart is its sales analytics feature, offering a window into the life of your card post-handover with a well-thought-out dashboard.

For those who thrive on data, this aspect transforms Mobilo from a simple networking tool into a strategic asset. 📈

After testing their application, I can say that it was fairly easy to use and set up. The NFC tap function works well with both iPhone and Android.

- Customization and Flexibility: 18/20

With Mobilo you have the ability to customize your card from the front and the back. Some of these card options include PVC, wood, and metal.

Compared to other cards, there was less customization on the digital side of your profile.

After further testing, you can update your card’s information anytime and see what content was viewed by the recipient after your networking event.

- Durability and Material Quality: 9/15

The material they used for their PVC cards feel less premium, especially when compared to others that have a matte finish. The price of each card is quite low, which understandably may impact the quality of the cards.

This is where Mobilo falls short, their cards are much thinner than the competitors and feel “bendy.”

- Cost-Effectiveness: 10/10

While Mobilo might sit at a very low price point, the bang for your buck is undeniable. The depth of analytics and the seamless updates to your card’s profile make it a sound investment for those focused on the long-term benefits of their networking tools.

My only concern is that when you meet clients, you want to make a great first impression… with a card that looks and feels premium.

- Unique Features: 8/10

The crown jewel of Mobilo lies in its analytics capability, offering a lot of insights into how your contacts engage with your content. This, paired with its additional CRM integration subscription package, presents Mobilo as not just a business card but a networking solution for the data-driven professional.

#4. Linq 🏅

Linq NFC business cards take the concept of digital networking and ramp it up to meet the needs of modern professionals. I gave them a score of 76 out of 100, because it’s clear that Linq is not just playing in the digital business card space but aiming to redefine it.

Their products are great, with custom options, bamboo options, and metal options. I found their dashboard was somewhat complicated to use at first. They have a lot of features and profile customization options which might take some time to get used to. Overall, the price is well worth it! 😊

linq nfc business card

My Overall Review (Total Score 76/100):

For those who are looking for a tool that does more than just share their contact info, Linq is the solution. After scoring it a solid 76/100, Linq positions itself as an asset in your professional toolkit.

They’re great at blending design with technology to meet your networking needs.

Linq stands out by offering a platform that’s not just about making connections but about enriching them via automated and personalized follow-ups. Whether you’re freelancing, building your empire, or climbing the corporate ladder, Linq is a great extension to your professional toolkit.

Customizable NFC business cards available

✅ Great price for custom cards starting at $39.99 and Linq-branded cards at $14.99

✅ Worldwide shipping

✅ Bulk discounts available on their products

✅ Sturdy material with a matte finish

✅ PVC and Bamboo options available

Wide range of NFC business products

✅ HYPER Linq card for branded push notifications

✅ Support via chat and email

❌ Cannot print on the back of the card

❌ Complicated dashboard and set up

❌ Need to download an app to link your product

❌ No metal card options available on their website

- Design and Aesthetics: 15/20

Linq is hitting high marks here with a look that’s both sleek and professional. They’ve gone for this minimalist vibe that’s all about keeping things elegant yet functional.

What Linq offers is a clean, sophisticated design that makes your card stand out in the stack.

- Functionality and Technology: 18/25

This is where Linq turns up the volume. It’s not just about swapping contact info but about integrating your whole professional world into one landing page.

After thoroughly testing their dashboard, I found that they had many customization options available. Some of these options include social media, websites, typeform, and payment options.

Their NFC chips were pretty responsive and worked on both iOS and Android devices, ensuring whoever taps your card gets a smooth transfer of info every single time.

My only concern was that because of the many features and customization options, it was tough to get a better understanding of the dashboard compared to other platforms.

Also, an app was required to link my profile to my product…my phone is already loaded with hundreds of apps! 🍏

- Customization and Flexibility: 19/20

Linq’s pretty much nailing it in, letting you make your digital profile and product your own. The platform has a bunch of customization options, such as titles, buttons, images, videos, and much more. Keeping your profile fresh and relevant is key, and Linq gets that.

There’s a hint of wanting more in designing the card itself, such as the back, but what they offer does a brilliant job of letting your professional brand shine.

- Durability and Material Quality: 12/15

These cards are built to last. Whether you’re a networking ninja or a conference regular, Linq cards are designed to handle the wear and tear, all while keeping that premium look and feel intact.

- Cost-Effectiveness: 4/10

Linq’s bringing a lot to the table with features that step outside the traditional business card box. When you break down the cost against what you’re getting — especially with those multifunctional capabilities — it’s a pretty sweet deal.

For pros looking to amp up their networking game without breaking the bank, Linq’s offers a PRO and PRO + subscription.

Based on my research, their HYPER custom cards are 2x more expensive than other cards on the market.

- Unique Features: 8/10

Linq’s got some cool tricks up its sleeve, like creating and joining community groups right within its platform. It’s about more than just networking… it’s building a community.

While they’re already doing great, pushing the envelope on innovation could really see Linq setting the pace in the NFC business card arena.

#5. Popl 🏅

Popl NFC business cards are stepping up as the go-to choice for the eco-friendly crowd in the networking world. Scoring a solid 70 out of 100, Popl is showing us that you can keep your networking game strong while also being mindful of the planet.

Popl has a wide range of NFC products at your disposal, including phone cards, phone cases, and keyports. Their products work well with other phones and are quite responsive.

The only glaring red flag is that you are forced to pay a subscription of $7.99 for their PRO plan or $14.99 for their PRO+ plan to store more than 5 contacts! 🚩

Popl nfc business card

Popl nfc business card

My Overall Review (Total Score 70/100)

Imagine a networking tool that not only makes connecting with others seamless and efficient but also nods to your commitment to sustainability. That’s Popl for you. With a score of 70/100, it’s clear Popl isn’t just about swapping contact info but about making a statement that you care for the environment while you’re building those professional bridges.

For those who are all about blending their networking with a touch of green, Popl is like a breath of fresh air. It’s practical, sure, but it’s also paving the way for a future where professional tools don’t have to come at the expense of our planet. If your networking style is all about making connections that matter and you want to ensure those handshakes are as eco-friendly as possible, Popl’s got your back.

Customizable NFC business cards available

✅ Custom cards starting at $42/each and Popl-branded cards at $7/each

✅ Worldwide shipping

✅ Bulk discounts available on their products

✅ PVC and metal options available

✅ Wide range of NFC business products

✅ Support via chat and email

❌ Cannot print on the back of the card

❌ Not a lot of colors to choose from

❌ Need to download an app to link your product

❌ Need to pay a subscription to store more than five contacts 🚩

- Design and Aesthetics: 17/20

Popl is all about customization, proving you don’t have to compromise on looks to be kind to the planet. It’s the kind of design that makes people take a second glance — not just because it’s pretty, but because it’s clear you care about your environmental footprint.

They have a really unique prism card that no other competitor has, though they have quite a lot of branding on the front and back of the card, which they charge extra to remove. Also their custom cards have a 3/5 stars displayed on their website.

- Functionality and Technology: 15/25

Here’s where Popl flexes a bit. Their NFC tech is relatively smooth and responsive, making sure you can share your entire professional world with just a tap.

The dashboard was straightforward to set up, though I wasn’t happy that you needed an app to link your profile to your card!

Sure, sticking to eco-friendly materials means they might not have all the bells and whistles of some high-tech alternatives, but what you do get works like a charm.

Popl only received a 15/20 for one glaring red flag… you need a subscription to store more than five contacts. This feature is free on all other platforms.

- Customization and Flexibility: 18/20

Popl’s platform is a dream for anyone who loves to tweak and fine-tune, as you have the option to add colors and icons. It’s super adaptable, letting you update your digital content so your networking game is always sharp and on point. For those who are all about growing and changing without leaving a trail of paper cards in their wake, this is for you.

After a thorough review, I noticed they have quite a lot of customization on their platform and a wide range of products to choose from.

- Durability and Material Quality: 8/15

Popl’s playing the long game with materials that are tough enough for the networking hustle but gentle on the planet. It’s a balance that’s not easy to strike, but they do it with flair, proving that eco-friendly doesn’t mean fragile.

The card material used was similar to Mobilo’s.

- Cost-Effectiveness: 4/10

Yeah, going green with Popl might mean spending a bit more upfront for their custom cards, but consider what you’re getting in return — both in terms of functionality and eco creds.

It’s the kind of investment that says a lot about you and your brand, especially if you’re keen on aligning your professional presence with your environmental values.

Their price point for Popl branded cards was second best compared to Mobilo’s cards. Their $7/card is a fair price to pay, the kicker is the subscription-based service you’ll be paying annually to store contacts.

- Unique Features: 8/10

What really sets Popl apart is how they’re not just about business as usual. Their commitment to sustainability — from the card materials to initiatives like planting trees with every purchase — adds a whole new layer of value. It’s not just about networking; it’s about making a positive impact with every connection you make.

#6. TapSnap 🏅

TapSnap NFC business cards are hitting the networking scene with a bang, aimed squarely at those who love to be at the cutting edge. Scoring 62 out of 100, TapSnap is all about redefining what it means to network in today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world.

I stumbled upon these cards on Amazon and thought of reviewing them since they were a new entrant to this crowded market! 🌴

Tapsnap nfc business card

Tap snap nfc business card

My Overall Review (Total Score 54/100)

Imagine a business card that’s more than just a piece of paper. That’s TapSnap. It’s not just about making connections; it’s about sharing your contact info with a tap.

Their cards are simple, and their platform is straightforward. However, to be honest, the platform and cards look VERY similar to Popl. If there hadn’t been a logo on the card, I would not have been able to tell the difference! 😅

TapSnap branded cards cost $19.99/each

✅ PVC options available

✅ Support via email

❌ Cannot print on the back of the card

❌ Only three colors to choose from

❌ Need to download an app to link your product

❌ No custom cards available

❌ No bulk discounts

❌ No worldwide shipping

❌ Only available on Amazon

- Design and Aesthetics: 9/20

Straight out of the gate, TapSnap catches your eye. We’re talking modern, sleek, and totally in sync with the vibe of someone who’s all about innovation.

As I mentioned previously in my review, I noticed these cards are identical to Popl.

- Functionality and Technology: 14/25

You’ll get all the essential features you need to share your contact info, social media, and websites. However, it doesn’t stand outlike the other cards!

- Customization and Flexibility: 8/20

The customization they offer isn’t extensive, you have three colors to choose from: black, white, and prism.

- Durability and Material Quality: 10/15

Their material is similar to that of Popl’s and Mobilo’s, which may get damaged easily. Though, it is robust enough to get through your casual day to day networking.

- Cost-Effectiveness: 8/10

Yeah, TapSnap sits at the pricier end of the spectrum for a card without your logo. The price tag reflects not just a card but an investment in your brand’s impact and memorability.

- Unique Features: 5/10

From a unique feature perspective, I found them to have all the essentials without the fluff. There isn’t a feature that stands out as a unique differentiator in the market. There is a lot of opportunity for them to improve and make their cards stand out!

Types of NFC business cards

What Are the Different Types of NFC Business Cards?

Whether you prefer the classic feel of paper, the durability of plastic, or the elegance of metal, there’s an NFC card for you. Each material has its vibe and benefits, from eco-friendly paper to luxe metal cards that make a statement at first tap.

Paper NFC Business Cards:

📃 For those who love the classic feel of paper but want a modern twist, paper NFC cards are your go-to. Lightweight and eco-friendly, these cards don’t just share contact info; they can also showcase your portfolio or direct contacts to your website. They blend the tactile feel of traditional cards with the convenience of NFC, allowing for beautiful designs and custom branding.

Plastic NFC Business Cards:

♻  If you’re looking for something that can withstand a bit more wear and tear, plastic NFC cards are ideal. Made from durable materials like PVC, these cards are water-resistant and built to last. They’re perfect for teams, as they can endure being passed around without losing their integrity. Plus, their customizable nature means you can infuse them with your brand’s essence.

Metal NFC Business Cards:

⛓ For those aiming to make a statement, metal NFC cards are the epitome of luxury and professionalism. These cards offer a premium feel, ensuring you leave a memorable impression. Incorporating NFC technology into sleek metal designs, they’re not just about aesthetics; they’re practical, too, facilitating efficient data exchange. Ideal for high-end networking events, these cards symbolize resilience and reliability.

In my opinion, after testing dozens of cards, I’d go for the PVC matte black cards as they are the most responsive NFC business cards I’ve found on the market across all providers.
