How does event lead capture pricing work?

By the lead, in credits. 1 credit is $2.50. An event badge is 4 credits ($10), with the contact enriched and synced to your CRM. A lead form, business card or LinkedIn QR code is 1 credit ($2.50) for the complete contact. Buying in volume? Contact sales for volume pricing.

Most exhibiting companies choose Teams, so every rep at the booth scans into one shared credit pool and lead dashboard. Pro works for one person working a show alone. Teams running a full show calendar can talk to sales about Enterprise and volume pricing.

Why is an event badge 4 credits and a business card 1?

Accepted Answer

The price follows the work. A badge only gives us a name and a company, so we search several data sources to find the verified email, phone and LinkedIn profile. A business card, lead form or LinkedIn QR code already carries those details, so it takes far less work.

Pro and Teams can buy credits in the app at any time, and every new account starts with 10 free credits. Enterprise teams get an annual credit package with volume pricing and unlimited users, so every rep at the booth can scan without paying for a seat.

Is contact enrichment included or an add-on?

Accepted Answer

Enrichment is what a credit pays for. Every badge scan includes it, and any contact that already has an email or LinkedIn profile can be enriched for 1 credit ($2.50). Each enriched lead arrives in your CRM with a verified email, phone, job title, company and LinkedIn profile.

Do I pay if enrichment fails?

No. If enrichment can't find verified contact details, no credit is used for that lead.

How accurate is the enrichment?

Every badge runs through several enrichment providers plus AI search to find the contact's email, phone and LinkedIn profile. In our own August 2026 test on real conference badge lists, enrichment returned a verified business email for 91% of scans.

What happens if we run out of credits?

Buy more in the app whenever you need them: packs from $50 to $500, most with bonus credits on top, or slide to any custom amount at $2.50 a credit. Larger teams can talk to sales about volume pricing.

Do my reps need an app to scan badges?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Reps scan badges, business cards and LinkedIn QR codes with the Wave Connect app on iPhone or Android, and it keeps working when the convention center Wi-Fi drops. The people you meet never need the app to receive your card.

Does it work without Wi-Fi?

Yes. Offline mode keeps the app scanning when the venue internet drops, and every lead syncs to your CRM as soon as you reconnect.

Does Wave Connect charge for CRM syncs?

Does a Wave Connect card work on every phone?

Yes. Tap works on NFC-enabled phones, including iPhone XS and newer and most Android phones, and the QR code works on any phone with a camera. If someone doesn't have their phone, you can share your card by text or email.

Does my team need NFC cards?

No. Everyone can share their digital business card from the QR code on their profile. NFC cards are optional.
