With custom domains, your team’s Wave profiles use your company’s domain instead of the default wavecnct.com. For example, profiles would be accessible at card.yourcompany.com/username instead of wavecnct.com/username.

Setup

Choose your subdomain

Decide on the subdomain you want to use (e.g., card.yourcompany.com, connect.yourcompany.com).

Contact Wave support

Reach out to your account manager with your desired subdomain.

Configure DNS

Add the CNAME record provided by Wave to your domain’s DNS settings.

Verify

Wave verifies the DNS configuration and activates your custom domain.

DNS Configuration

Add the following CNAME record to your domain’s DNS:
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate, though most changes take effect within a few hours.

After Setup

Once your custom domain is active:
  • All team members’ profiles are accessible at your custom domain
  • Existing wavecnct.com links continue to work and redirect to your custom domain
  • NFC cards and QR codes are updated to use the new domain
  • Email signatures and shared links automatically use the new domain
