The short version: there are 53 major technology conferences and trade shows scheduled in the United States between now and the end of 2027, plus the multi-city TECHSPO series. The largest are CES (Las Vegas, January 2027), AWS re:Invent (Las Vegas, November 2026), RSA Conference (San Francisco, April 2027) and Black Hat USA. Every date was read off the organizer's own site on September 23, 2026.
Most of the biggest events on this page are vendor conferences: AWS re:Invent, Microsoft Ignite, Google Cloud Next, Dreamforce, Oracle AI World, Cisco Live, Red Hat Summit. The agenda is a product roadmap. That is genuinely valuable if you run that stack, and close to useless if you do not.
The vendor-neutral events are a smaller group: KubeCon, RSA Conference, Black Hat, DeveloperWeek, CES, and the engineering trade shows. If you are comparing options rather than deepening an existing commitment, start there.
Technology has more conferences than any other industry, and the listings that try to cover all of them tend to be a wall of names with no way to tell a 60,000-person vendor keynote from a 200-person regional summit.
Below is the full calendar in date order first, then the same events grouped by what they are actually for, with attendance figures where the organizer publishes them. If you exhibit rather than attend, the last section is the one to read.

Dates verified against each organizer's own website on September 23, 2026. Attendance and exhibitor figures are the organizers' own published numbers. Technology events change venues and formats often, so confirm before booking.
Three things that changed since last year's lists
These are the differences between this calendar and the technology conference roundups circulating since the start of 2026.
Oracle has rebuilt and renamed its flagship around AI. The 2026 edition runs October 25 to 28 in Las Vegas. Searching the old name will not find it.
HubSpot renamed its flagship. Separately, a number of standalone technology events have been folded into larger sponsor conferences, which is the most common way a tech event disappears.
Microsoft Build, Dell Technologies World and VMware Explore had no forward date published when this page was rebuilt. Extreme Connect and Web Summit Vancouver now run outside the United States. All are left off rather than listed with a guessed date.

Wave Connect turns badge scans into enriched, CRM-ready leads before your team leaves the hall, so follow-up goes out while the conversation is still fresh.

Platform and infrastructure events. Most are vendor conferences where the agenda is a product roadmap, which is exactly what you want if you run that stack and a poor use of a week if you do not.

How to choose which ones to attend
Technology conference budgets get spent badly more often than in any other industry, usually by sending people to the biggest event rather than the right one. The question that decides it is whether you are deepening a commitment or making one.
Go to the vendor conference. AWS re:Invent, Microsoft Ignite, Google Cloud Next, Cisco Live, Red Hat Summit and Dreamforce all deliver roadmap, certification and direct access to product teams.
Book the hands-on labs and meeting slots the day registration opens. They fill faster than the sessions.
Go vendor-neutral. KubeCon, RSA Conference, DeveloperWeek and the engineering trade shows put competing options in one hall without a house narrative.
For the channel and midmarket events, check the hosted-buyer track first: several admit qualified IT leaders free and contribute toward travel.
A practical note on the biggest events: CES, AWS re:Invent and RSA Conference are each large enough that walking the floor without a plan achieves almost nothing. Build a shortlist before you travel and book what meetings you can. The people worth meeting at those shows have their calendars full weeks in advance.
If you are exhibiting rather than attending
Technology floors are the most competitive on any of our calendars. At RSA or CES your booth sits among hundreds of others selling something adjacent, and the visitor has seen a dozen before yours.
The follow-up problem is what actually decides the return. A team scans several hundred badges across four days, the file arrives the following week as a spreadsheet of names and titles, and by the time anyone enriches it and writes something specific the buyer has forgotten which booth was which. The scanning is not the problem. The gap between the scan and a usable, enriched record is.
