# Offline Mode

> Capture leads without a connection and sync when you are back online

Trade show floors lose signal. You can keep capturing leads with no Wi-Fi and no cellular data, and nothing waits on the venue network.

## What Works Offline

* Open the Wave Connect app
* Scan event badges and paper business cards
* Scan LinkedIn and digital business card QR codes
* Add notes while the conversation is still fresh
* Add tags

Every capture is stored on your device.

## What Happens When You Reconnect

As soon as you are back on Wi-Fi or cellular data, Wave Connect syncs on its own. There is nothing to press:

1. Your captures upload
2. Enrichment runs on each one and fills in the contact details
3. Credits are used at that point, not while you were offline
4. Everything syncs to your CRM

Your notes and tags stay attached to the right contact.

## Before the Show Floor

Check your credit balance before you start scanning. Enrichment runs when you reconnect, so a capture made offline still needs credits to come back as a complete contact. See [Credits and Usage](/docs/plans/credits) to top up or switch on auto-reload.
