# Analytics

> Track how often your digital business cards are viewed, what people click, and how many contacts you collect

> [!NOTE]
>
> Personal analytics are included on every plan. Team and organization analytics are available on the **Teams** and **Enterprise** plans.

Analytics show how your Wave Connect profiles perform: how many people viewed them, how they got there, what they clicked, and how many contacts were collected over the period.

## Where to find analytics

Click **Analytics** in the sidebar. What you see depends on the dashboard you are in:

| Dashboard | Who can open it | What it covers |
| - | - | - |
| Personal | Everyone | Your own profile |
| Team | Team **Managers** and **Viewers**, plus Admins and Owners | Every member of the team |
| Organization | **Admins** and **Owners** | Everyone in the organization |

Admins and managers can also open a single user from **Users** and go to their **Analytics** tab to see that person's numbers.

## Metrics

The four cards at the top summarize the selected period:

| Metric | What it counts |
| - | - |
| **Page Views** | Times a profile was opened, from every source combined. |
| **Page Clicks** | Times a visitor clicked something on a profile: a link, a social icon, a file, **Save Contact**, and so on. |
| **CTR** | Click-through rate: clicks divided by views, as a percentage. |
| **Contacts Collected** | Contacts created in the period by the selected user, team, or organization. |

Below the cards, the **Page Views** chart plots views over time. Points are daily, or weekly when the range is longer than six months.

## Type of views

The **Type of views** chart splits page views by how the visitor reached the profile:

* **Web**: the profile link was opened directly, for example from an email signature, a shared link, or a search result.
* **Card**: a Wave Connect card was tapped on a phone.
* **QR Code**: the profile's QR code was scanned.

## Clicks per category

The **Clicks per category** chart groups page clicks by the kind of content clicked: **Socials**, **Portfolio** (gallery images), **Video**, **Links**, **Files**, **Google Maps**, **Teams** (team member links), **Save Contact**, and **Calendly**. Hover over a slice to see its click count and share of total views.

> [!TIP]
>
> Each chart has a download icon in its corner. Click it to save that chart's data as a CSV file.

## Filters

* **Date range**: pick **Last 7 days**, **Last 30 days**, **Last 90 days**, **Last 365 days**, **Last Year**, or **This year**, or choose custom start and end dates. The default is the last 30 days.
* **User**: in a team or organization dashboard, narrow the numbers to one person.
* **Team**: in the organization dashboard, narrow the numbers to one team. This filter is hidden when the organization has a single team.

Filters apply to every card and chart on the page, and to the CSV exports.

## Export as CSV

Open the menu in the top right corner of the page and choose an export:

* **Export as CSV**: one row per day with views by type (web, card, QR code) and clicks by category.
* **Export users analytics as CSV**: available in team and organization dashboards. One row per user per day, with the user's first name, last name, and email, their views and clicks by category, and the contacts they collected that day.

Both exports cover the selected date range.
